Description
Peavey CS3000 Power AmplifierBuilding on the reputation of the world-famous Peavey CS 800, which conquered the high-powered amp market in the 1970s, the CS Series is the global standard bearer for workhorse reliability. Over the years, these amps have benefited from many of Peavey’s most popular audio innovations, including their exclusive DDTâ„¢ compression/anti-clipping protection. With its 2RU design and high power ratings, this latest evolution of the CS Series is leaner, louder and lighter than ever.Peavey gives the pro audio world even more reasons to choose the CS Series, including 14 power devices per channel on the CS 3000, CS 4000 and CS 4080, nearly twice the number found in more expensive competitors. The four-channel CS 800×4 utilizes wire-bonded hybrid technology and can power four monitor mixes from a single unit, while the CS 1400 and CS 2000 contain overbuilt heat sinks for more efficient tunnel cooling. All CS power amps include toroidal power transformers for lighter weight and increased power. The front panel display includes LED indicators for signal presence and DDT active, as well as individual power LEDs that indicate fault conditions. CS amps also feature circuitry to protect against shorts, improper loads, overdriven turn-on levels, high temperatures, DC and subsonic frequencies that could damage loudspeakers. To ensure cool operating temperatures, Peavey has included two dual-speed cooling fans on the CS 1400 and CS 2000; two variable-speed cooling fans on the CS 3000, CS 4000 and CS 4080 HZ; and one variable-speed cooling fan on the CS 800×4. CS amps ship with XLR-1/4inch combination inputs; binding post, Speakon® and IEC mains connector outputs. The new CS Commercial Series power amplifiers are now available from authorized Peavey retailers.Features:
